Congrats to Iowa on the W. Let's see how the rest of the season plays out for them. Based on what I saw last night they'll most likely lose at least one game before the B1G championship (Wisky or Nebby) and get rolled in that game by whoever wins the East.
Their O is bad, like really bad. Their D is solid, their punter is awesome (at least he was yesterday). However, is that game is at PSU, with everything else being equal (SC injury, etc), I think PSU wins. The crowd influenced the game (good on them) and magnified an anemic PSU offense that at home might have at least not committed 11 penalties. All that said, they didn't take the lead until deep in the 4th quarter while our D was beginning to go south a bit, which is not surprising given injuries (heal up PLEASE PJ) and the aforementioned lack of PSU O.
Final thought. I keep hearing how the Iowa fans had the presence of mind to know to boo our injured players while down and being attended to that they knew would be coming right back in on the next play. Don't know how they knew that but again good on them for having that foresight to be able to selectively boo the Penn State players that would return to the game as opposed to those who would not (although I'm pretty sure I heard some boos even when PJ went down as the 1st injured PSU player early in the game). Hope all our guys heal quickly, as well as the Iowa DB who seemingly injured himself celebrating that INT.
