Iowa was exposed

They are a poser. Barely beat a team with their second QB with no experience.........

Nebraska beats them.

In the spirit of sportsmanship, I will say kudos to their punter. He had a fine game.
Talk about a poor loser that gets caught up in the moment. You this way about every team that beats PSU? Hug that blue and white teddy bear tight; what a homer. You sound like some 14-year old baby. Grow up!

NittanyBuff put you in your place. Listen to him for a bit.

Not very impressed with Iowa. The whole country knows they got away with this one with Clifford going down. Reality will hit sooner than later
And even still they beat your team. Sore loser; you always like this chump?

talk about a sore winner who finds it necessary to go to the other teams board to call them names.

Maybe you should deal with your own fans booing injured players.

It's called football. Injuries part of the game and adequate backups part of the game. Iowa's top CB went out with injury and his backup (PA native by the way) was picked on by you clowns and never once could you put a chink in the armor Also: Scoreboard.

Nothing like supporting fake injuries, classy. Three times went down your players back in 2 plays later or less. As indicated on the radio broadcast, most of the times PSU players went down were 10 yard gains or more. Not hard to figure out. You don't pull bullshit like that. Turnabout fair play. Karma a bitch as last PSU win in Iowa City you had fans all over the Iowa board.

And you needed it to win. Otherwise you would have been rolled.

Neither team looked like a top 10 tbh

Looked like two teams that have a 9-3 ceiling, not #3 and #4

Congrats to Iowa on the W. Let's see how the rest of the season plays out for them. Based on what I saw last night they'll most likely lose at least one game before the B1G championship (Wisky or Nebby) and get rolled in that game by whoever wins the East.
Their O is bad, like really bad. Their D is solid, their punter is awesome (at least he was yesterday). However, is that game is at PSU, with everything else being equal (SC injury, etc), I think PSU wins. The crowd influenced the game (good on them) and magnified an anemic PSU offense that at home might have at least not committed 11 penalties. All that said, they didn't take the lead until deep in the 4th quarter while our D was beginning to go south a bit, which is not surprising given injuries (heal up PLEASE PJ) and the aforementioned lack of PSU O.
Final thought. I keep hearing how the Iowa fans had the presence of mind to know to boo our injured players while down and being attended to that they knew would be coming right back in on the next play. Don't know how they knew that but again good on them for having that foresight to be able to selectively boo the Penn State players that would return to the game as opposed to those who would not (although I'm pretty sure I heard some boos even when PJ went down as the 1st injured PSU player early in the game). Hope all our guys heal quickly, as well as the Iowa DB who seemingly injured himself celebrating that INT.

Iowas has 12 wins in a row and schemes their games over 4 quarters, not 1.5. They win football games because their coaching staff makes adjustments as good as any program in the nation. LMAO that 17-10 signifies a guaranteed victory w/ Clifford. Are you proclaiming some kind of dumb moral victory? Some kind of stupid "high ground" that gives you some confidence and reassurance heading into the bye? Whatevs, I guess. It's odd your team drops that much once the QB goes down. Iowa was 9-0 in 2009 and starting QB Ricky Stanzi had season ending injury, which ended the perfect season. Iowa still went into Columbus and played OSU to overtime in the de facto Big Ten champsionship w/ a backup QB. Lost by a FG, and absolutely no excuses were made:

NEXT. MAN. IN.

By the way, here's the origin of when Iowa fans started booing bogus play stoppages. It was after the Michigan State game in 2011, and an MSU player EVEN ADMIITED IT:

"When an offense is moving like that the smart move is to just go down and just take your time and don't kind of rush through it, but that's what we went out, that's what we went out there and did," Jerel Worthy said.

ESPN disagrees with most takes on this board, slotting Iowa for the National Championship against Georgia.

No, not a moral victory. If Clifford plays another 2 1/2 quarters, Penn State scores more than 3 points. When he was in, your defense had trouble stopping him. Fact.

Hopefully there will be a rematch in the future. I’m sure Clifford would like that.

Iowa is a paper tiger. Not saying we’re a legit contender either, but I can’t remember a more mediocre top 2 team ever. They are coached extremely well…kudos for getting the most out of lesser talent. They won fair and square, so congrats, but when they are ultimately exposed, it will likely be ugly.

like why is this necessary? There is nothing wrong with the state of Iowa. this is lunacy
I would say it applies to the Iowa- trolls that are coming here to rationalize their fan's behavior for booing our players injuries. Have you seen the video with their assistant coaches, fake-falling to the ground, mocking Mustipher's likely season ending injury? How about the fan's mocking Clifford's injured shoulder when he was out on the sideline? I've never seen this much disgusting behavior from college fans. This is considered extremely low class and rare even for professional sports fans. How about their fan's relishing the Sandusky scandal every year, ten years later?

I can handle losing to Iowa, especially when we're kicking their ass 17-3, until we have to play the back-up QB. We know our season comes down to Ohio State every year and not Sloth-Iowa. The Penn Sate and Ohio State winner-loser are the 1st and 2nd best team in the Big Ten for the past 6-seasons. The Big Ten Championship is a joke, when Iowa can play in it after only beating (1) ranked team all year.

Iowa fan's are the lowest class in the Big Ten and this does not reflect well on their state. Yes, there's good fans in Iowa and the entire state is not a cesspool of ignorant-douche bags but annually some of their fans make the Raider fans look like angels.

Well said. Punter was MVP for them.
