Is there any kind of informed consensus on Parsons and PSU going forward?

I know there have been a lot of threads about him (both before and especially after the decommitment), most of which I don't have time to read.

Have any sources, generally considered reliable, offered any insights into whether we are still in it for him, and if so in terms of probability?

Whether he is a PIA or not, he has some impressive skills. I'd rather he be a Lion than not. I think that is what the Greeks thought of Achilles: monstrous ego but essential warrior.
