It always amazes me when people apologize, when caught

I guess he could have said, "Damn straight I said it. And, I meant it!" That probably would not have gone over well.

Two things I noticed today...

1) Frank Kaminsky acknowledged the apology and said basically that it's over and nothing more needs to be made of it.
2) The African American community has not shown any outrage over the incident that I am aware of.

It was an immature and dumb thing to do especially in front of an open mic. Having said that, that is a word used over and over again every day by young AA males when referring to other AA's, as well as to people of all other races, colors and creeds (some even refer to their dogs that way).

I think that is unfortunate as it could desensitize folks to the word and its ugly undertones, but that is their prerogative in my view. It is not the prerogative of a non AA to use that word when referring to someone in my view. If Kaminsky and the AA community are not upset by the incident, why are other people upset? Answer: Because many people hate Calipari/Kentucky basketball and this somehow justifies their hate. End of story. For folks who hate Kentucky basketball, just be happy. They lost one of the biggest games in the history of their program.

Funny, I havn't heard anything for Al Sharpton. Talk about a

double standard. Just think of the uproar if it were the other way around.

Al and Jessie are more concerned that Wisky is short on black

players.

Wisconsin has a Croation and a Native American….but no bonus points for that.

Wisconsin's men's hoops team is not short on black players so Al and Jessie shouldn't be concerned about that. They should just enjoy the games and not worry about the racial makeup of the team.

Seriously, that is one of the most racists things I have ever heard. Stupid too. A word has meaning all on its own - that meaning doesn't change with the color of the skin of the user. What do you do when you can't see who used the word?

I personally have no problem with anyone using the dreaded n word, or the f word. They are merely words.
