I actually went to their homepage yesterday and accidentally found myself on an "send email" page. Now, I'm a cautious, reasonable man so I just closed the page and went around my business, but, thinking about it this morning, I'm sure that more than a few others found themselves where I was and decided to let their feelings be known.Has anyone contacted Spencer Custer?
LOL. That one cracked me up, too. That's a shame. He seemed like one of the more level-headed sPitters...
If he is, or was, a member of the Pitt Board of Trustees, and he is publicly commenting on recruits who either did or did not commit, is he not in violation of NCAA recruiting rules?
Social media is kind of like a loaded gun sitting on a table. As long as it sits there, and does not get used, it's benign.
If someone who is skilled and experienced knows how to use it, then it can be used in an appropriate manner. If someone who is not skilled and experienced uses it, then you never know what kind of damage they can inflict....including to themselves.
Maybe there should be some kind of registration so that those with mental health issues are prevented from using social media. If someone who is not skilled and experienced uses it, then you never know what kind of damage they can inflict....including to themselves.

Yes, I used the link provided and expressed that if in need of counsel I would not consider their firm. I said that as a lawyer his behavior was unacceptable. I said he was a lower form of life and congratulated him on that achievement.Has anyone contacted Spencer Custer?
Social media doesn't ruin stupid people. Stupid people ruin stupid people.
P.S. 'ro, I love the signature pic. Mox is an idiot.

I would never dream of embarrassing my family or my employer through social media, and I try to be really careful what I say and how I say it. It's my personality, but it's also, I'm sure, a sense of responsibility and respect for others in my life I'm thinking of here. This guy, really, WTF was he thinking? Did he ever think of how poorly this would go over?
This board is my sole social media presence, by the way. Just saying. I'm sure people can figure out who I am, where I work, so I try not to be a horse's ass on this board.
Has anyone contacted Spencer Custer?
I sent them an e-mail suggesting he be disciplined. I asked them to respond, though I said I didn't expect a response.
Spence Custer is a six person law firm. Four of them are partners and Carnevali is one of them. I think you're wasting your time.
Patronizing will get you nowhere....I know who you are and you are a good guy. The majority of this board, are good people.
It is "C A R W R E C K"I've seen 4 different spellings. Is it "C A R N I V A L E" or "C A R N E V A L I" or "C A R N E V A L L I"

Rivals would go bankrupt.Maybe there should be some kind of registration so that those with mental health issues are prevented from using social media.
Note to Penn Staters who may be clients of that firm. If you have power over engaging counsel, it might be worth it to seek alternatives. Law firms of that ilk are eminently fungible. Outside counsel works at my behest. If they fail (or annoy) me, it doesn't take much to shift my business.
You guys have the largest living Alumni network, n'est ce pas? Well, time to start using it.
It's Pitt - no one, other than this Board and a couple of Yinzers even bother to pay attention. Certainly not the NCAA.

On that thread, somebody speculated about his politics. And the previous thread "Pitt fan & past Pitt Board of Trustees Member upset about Wade" is now locked. Hmmmm??

Thanks Gunsie!I know who you are and you are a good guy. The majority of this board, are good people.
Intimately?I wonder how well Carnevali knows Shubin?
