The plane Boyd suggested ripping the wings off, painting yellow and making the world's fast line bus...

Personally, I go with the DC-3. It'll be flying when the current crop of planes are rusting away; and shot down a Zero in WWII despite being unarmed.

B58 can't be beat in my book. However, tough to argue against the Buff as it is projected to be in service for nearly 100 years before being retired according to a source I read a few years back.

This thread epitomizes why I frequent this board. Always something interesting to read.
