we were in the game today only because of penalties. Like that statement or not, it's the truth. Our offensive game planning was less than awful. It stunk. We were predictable and totally ineffective. I am very, very disappointed with the play calling coming from the staff. They can say well, we don't have a very good line and our players are young, but you know what, if we're that young and inexperienced, then why call plays you know are doomed before the snap of the ball occurs. Be more unpredictable, more creative. Barkley had two decent runs and the rest were what, for negative yardage? Do we dare throw the ball over the middle? Do we try screen plays? Hackenberg was totally ineffective today. God bless hi, but goodbye. If he can't get better protection and better plays from the staff, why the hell would he want to hang around? Who would? At his point in time, it's apparent that Franklin can recruit, but I'm certainly not convinced he can coach, and I'm damn sure his offensive coordinator is a freaking joke. Hate to make posts like this, but I must.
