First of all, Butler opens up Las Vegas Bishop Gorman to recruiting (tOSU will sign 3 of the LVBG Srs this class). Second, he has outstanding speed, a hallmark of the Nittany Lion roster, Third, Jabari Butler was an all-Southland Conference standout (a top Div 1-AA/FCD conference). And finally, he can take Rivers' open scholie.

You are so close to factual info once in a while. His last name is Butler, he won't take a ship as he is walk on CB and not a LB, and PSU is moving to a different target at LB.

Ummm....Brown is a walk-on. But everything else makes him looks like a nice get for PSU.

Although Jabari Brown would help our basketball team, I believe he has a contract with the Jilin Tigers of the Chinese basketball league. He is a professional and is ineligible to play for PSU. Maybe Alabama does things differently.

Butler can and will get a scholarship right away as soon as one is available. Who said anything about LB? He's a CB/WR. He was outstanding in the Southland Conference for Abilene Christian (think Mcneese State and Sam Houston State). CJF can concentrate on LBs in the Class Of 2018.

Alabama has 85 professionals on its roster,, including this year's top-rated recruiting class. Jabari Brown plays for Xii Shin-zu in the Chinese Red Army MBB league.

Just exactly how did I belittle Butler?? All-Southland Conference? Great speed? Solid get? I don't get you guys, trashing a guy for complimenting CJF. I even got trashed for congratulating CJF on winning College COY award from the Columbus Touchdown Club.

You can play as long as you are not a professional in the sport you want to play.A few minor league baseball players play football!
 
One of the Bahr brothers played professional soccer while kicking for the football program.

Has anyone checked? Maybe the Nittany Lions signed Jabari Parker of the Milwaukee Bucks. He may still have some eligibility left and will certainly help the men's basketball team (and the women's for that matter). He could come in as a preferred walk-on since he has enough money to pay for tuition as well as room and board on his own. This is a great get for Coach Franklin and Coach Chambers. ;-)

Pretty sure I've seen a few trailer parks in Columbia, PA as I've zipped past on Route 30. Isn't that the big Crimson Tide town in PA?
