Jacksonville tonight

Flying down today with my son who is a PSU senior. So where does one go tonight in Jacksonville for dinner, a few beers and to be around other bowl game visitors?
Staying about 9 miles south of downtown along art 95 and will taxi/uber into downtown tonight. Looking for advice.

If you are downtown go to Bay Street Bar and Grill. Will be a good group of us there around 7pm. Also I think there's some event happening.

Sidecar is a great place but is sort of out of the way. Would have to cross the river and walk to get there.

Downtown also has Dos Gatos which is a great bar (no food).

If you're at the beaches... there are a ton of places. Just set your GPS for Hoptinger then walk around from there.

Was it true the coaches and team were a no show at the pep rally? Saw someone post about it on TOS.
