Football James Franklin responds to criticisms on last-minute touchdown against WVU

We had a shot at sharing the title in 93. We were #2 in one of the polls and needed the #1 team to lose in a sloppy game and they did. I think the score was 18-13. And no, we didn't make it in 07 but if we'd beaten pitt like we were supposed to do then we'd have had it. Besides, you can talk about weak conferences but no one had a White, Slaton, Reynaud, Schmitt and Devine like we did. It wouldn't have mattered.
WVU was, is, and always will be irrelevant in the national championship picture. None of the teams you mention would have ever won a natty. Now go beat Pitt because there whining on here is better than WVUs.

The bowl game in 93 proved WV was where they were at because the conference was weak…they got absolutely boat race against a two loss SEC team. And many teams that played in tougher conferences and had players better than the ones you listed and didn’t come close to a NC. Playing in a tougher conference always matters regardless of who your players are. WVU couldn’t get out of the Big East without two losses, how many would they have had in the SEC?

Maybe comprehension isn't your strong suit. You're comparing WVU with PSU and the issue was whether WVU had reached lofty heights. So who's the dipshit now?

It's pretty clear you're the one with a comprehension problem dipshit - it isn't "arrogance" when you're 35-2-1 against the team in question over the past 50 years.
