Jay Bilas just got his @ss handed to him on Twitter by our own ...

Yes Jay not vague at all, crystal clear. That is why the jury acquitted Sandusky on the rape charge. Wait, what does acquit mean again?

Sandusky was acquitted of 1/5 charges . I wouldn't go bragging about no penetration when he still had at least one felony conviction in that instance .
As for rape , since children cannot consent to sexual contact it is fair to classify any conviction as rape , since it's non consensual sexual activity .

There was someone recently that wrote a column basically calling Paterno a racist because he didn't stop Sandusky from abusing all those poor black boys (since, in her words, a charity for underprivileged youth is code for "poor black boys"). When I told her that none of Sandusky's victims were black, she told me I was wrong because she had her sources. I figured then I wasn't going to change her mind.

Yeah, don't get me wrong- I totally get that there's lots of stupidity out there. You can't fix stupid.

Frankly, IMO it's become worse over the past few decades from tv (especially with regard to politics) where reports on tv became get the 2 most biased loudmouths for their respective sides to lob bombs at each other and call it "reporting". The MO of media went downhill very quickly from reporting facts to reporting "sides".

All that mattered was 'X' said blah blah about 'Y'. It no longer mattered if what was said was true or not- just that it was a ratings grabber.

That then morphed into people deciding their own facts which matched their opinions rather than an honest review of an issue. That's what you see with that idiot that tried to make the JS crimes as some sort of racial issue........despite no black victims. Most people are now conditioned that their opinions and feelings are what's important- not truth or honesty.

Sorry for the length. Rant now over ..........;)

Something I see over and over again... "If Joe would have only done something, so many kids wouldn't have been abused".

They assume he didn't do anything, which is obviously false. Then they never can tell you what "something" is, since he did the legal maximum already. But the part that really gets me is that there was only I believe 1 victim after 2001, and it occurred at a local high school. Meanwhile if DPW/CYS/TSM had only done something, nearly all abuse could have been prevented.
