He’s already getting his next tattoo:

I guess him always pointing to his veins wasn’t about ice flowing through his blood.

So, in order to keep up with the GIA Joneses, are we going to lean on this story for a decade+?

And is it no wonder Nick caught and passed the Riddler as they got older?

For those unaware, Icing is a very popular game that 20 somethings play.

"Any man or woman ambushed with a challenge to drink an entire bottle of Smirnoff Ice must go down on one knee and chug the sugary, unpopular liquor. They may block the challenge if they are already carrying a defensive bottle of Ice. In that case, the challenger must drink both their own bottle and the defender's bottle."

Just dumb. No excuse for this, especially in 2023 with rideshare being so prevalent. Hell I bet if he called a teammate or coach, they'd go get him. Inherent issue though is alcohol gives overconfidence for driving if anything, thus why it's prevalent. Not judging his character but once again, just dumb. Glad nobody got hurt and hopefully he learned his lesson.

Drunk driving is a character flaw, imo

Sad to hear, but absolutely stupid decision. OWI/DWI.

“The Columbia, Missouri native reportedly performed poorly…”

Surprised? I’m not 😁

Independent of Eierman’s situation, our country is soft as shit on dui laws. These should be felonies and IDGAF how long one is locked up. Puts far too many innocent people at risk.
100% agree on this. A big issue is there is no deterrent. The messaging can't be any louder or more clear how dangerous it is and how avoidable it is. Enough stories have been shared at some worst case scenarios with it (many innocent people die)

The issue is if someone get a DUI and nobody gets hurt, they're going to get off scot free more or less first time with a remotely competent lawyer. License suspension, probation and some classes/community service and it's over. Don't think it's all that common a DUI prevents a hiring either if it shows up on a background check. Hell a more expensive lawyer can probably save someone from their second as well (once again if nobody gets hurt)

There needs to be some real punishment so it gets the message across. Virginia has some of the harshest laws (they do mandatory jail time after a certain BAC) and they're still weak (it's 5-10 days often) Make it 1 year in jail minimum for the first and see what happens.

I'm sure AJ would've picked him up and scared him sober with his driving.

Do you feel the same about all the people driving talking texting doing whatever other than paying attention to driving that are causing more accidents and lets not mention just not caring if they’re in an accident.

What will happen is: a lot of pleading to lesser charges. Which might be worse, because then the DUI won't be on their record the next time they drive drunk.

The Law of Unintended Consequences is strong on this one.

Talking? Really?

If you can't talk while driving, you'll never be in a relationship.
Disagree. No cell phone usage while driving. Pull over or get off the highway. The way idiots drive today, it's too risky to drive distracted. Even boisterous passengers need to be shut down. I've pulled off a highway to a safe spot and informed a passenger to quite down or get out and walk. My wife and I have been married for 49 years. We speak while driving all the time. She has her iPhone for quiet browsing but cuts calls short. She's precious cargo and I want to protect us both.

The other poster did not say cell phone usage, he said "talking."

Bluetooth in the car works. People fumbling around with their cell phone, not cool.

Like everything else it has to be practical to implement. You will have jails way overcrowded and so new ones will need to be built and more people hired. It is not like we can waive a magic wand and have space for these people.

As it is, (at least in Illinois) it costs the driver a fortune to get his license back and he is off the road for years.
I disagree that there is not deterrent, it is just that people still do dumb things and sometime they get caught. the reality is that most DUI's are given to good people who make stupid mistakes. they are not deserving of being in a prison.

I don't think anyone goes to prison on a 1st time offense, unless they kill someone. One very expensive warning, which Jaydin will recieve. There shouldn't be a second time. Second offenses should get jail time.

I might be wrong, but I thought in PA you could trade some of the fine and/or license suspension for some weekend jail time in county lockup.

Alcoholics keep driving with no license. I can’t count the times they hit someone being drunk and having 3/4/5 DUI already.
It’s still really prevalent in South Florida
