Jesse James 2 targets, 2 rec, 28 yds, long of 22

A Rob 2 targets, 2 rec, 25 yds, long of 15

I sense great seasons from these young men!

McGloin also lit up the Rams going 10-11 for 104 yds and a TD

I still don't know why he isn't the "official" starter for Oakland

Here's a video replay of his 22-Yard catch:

http://www.steelers.com/videos/vide...yd-catch/3702cf3b-68f4-44b0-a4e5-d3c62fb6ed6e

Note the announcers comment as he gives up his body diving and extending his body in heavy coverage, "My, that's a courageous catch.". Too funny that supposed PSU fans incessantly and ridiculously whine and criticise in the opposite fashion. As per Teddy Roosevelt's "Man In The Arena" speech, I'm doubtful these loudmouth would say the same to his face (a la Jim Rome who got precisely what he desrved for being this type of loudmouth little wuss from Everrett on his show).

He also blew another block in the 4th that caused Jones to get sack right away.

He is going on the PS if anything. They have Miller and Spaeth.

SPAETH?

Somehow Spaeth has managed a 7 year career doing next to nothing for the entirety of it.
James will make the practice squad, but not because of the greatness of Spaeth. Mainly because of the myopia of the Steeler franchise, which has also caused them the cap problems and the secondary problems also.

It will be interesting. I still think he has a chance to make the team. He has all the intangibles, he just needs to be more consistent. For what its worth I always thought his "hands" were over rated but thats not his fault, more so some of the "media"(this site included) that over played that song.
On another note I am no fan of Landry Jones...at all. Can the Steelers trade for McGloin?

I think Jesse will have a very long NFL career (8-10 years). Will he be a star? Maybe. He catches the ball has good speed, not a great blocker but good enough.

They have Gradowski.

Doesn't matter. Ben is MVP

yeah, that is one bad Steelers franchise. LMAO

I didn't say that. I said "myopic". Try to learn about reading comprehension.

The franchise is myopic. They often stay with players far too long, because they refuse to believe that they could be wrong about anything. They resigned veterans that were long done, because they simply believed they were still great, and it got them into cap problems that they are still trying to dig out of and won't until at least two or three years from now. Held on to Ike too long, held on to Troy too long(although that can be forgiven), stayed with poor offensive line coaching for most of Ben's career until finally hiring Munchak recently. They have neglected the defensive backfield in the draft for no less than 11 consecutive drafts and it has finally caught up to them, losing to Baltimore last year in the playoffs as a direct result of a poor defensive backfield. They have drafted busts that they stay with too long(Jarvis Jones is on the hook right now as it's make or break for him).

Matt Spaeth has done nothing for them, and would not make the roster of nearly every team of the 31 other teams if they cut him loose right now. He can't block, can't run, can't get open, and can't catch. He's tall, that's it.

James should make the team based on his ceiling, talent wise, but he pass Spaeth on the depth chart because the Colbert and Tomlin refuse to admit they could possibly be wrong about anything, and consistently over value veterans. Notice how Ficken wasn't even considered, in order to sign a recently cut VETERAN kicker. We'll see how that turns out.

For the record I am a lifelong Steeler fan, just as much as a PSU fan, so throw that argument out too.
