Yeah, I thought that was below the belt... This is supposed to be about Iowa and MSU, why put CJF through the wringer just to get in some barbs at your old rival school.

I didn't see the exchange but for a guy who never won anything as a head coach it seems like a weird thing to say.
Didn't see the whole thing but I thought pornstache was over the top with the shots at CJF about the game last week.
After the last comment as they were going off the air, Franklin said "one more comment wanstead and I'm coming over there and I'm not kidding!"
I heard they showed Franklin doing an in house visit, and when Franklin walked in the door they had the Penn State fight song playing. Was told they were not allowed to say who the recruit was because of rules. Just wondering if anybody on board caught that, and knew who the recruit was?

There is a difference between fans on message boards and using your position as a network analyst to take shots at another analyst and a program that you are jealous of. It wasn't like CJF was bragging about his teams performance against MSU. Wanny could have said that teams that have left Cook be comfortable in the pocket have not done well, and even listed Penn State among several examples. Singling out Penn State, with CJF right there, was a a-hole move.

Sounds like it's all a total work. PSU has to play jabroni to "Triple H Wanny." I always knew it was a rig job but this is too comical to contemplate. So we signed up to be jobbers in this league, great. Break out the coconuts and chairs to the back of the head. Give me the Boston Crab.

I watched the segment and in my opinion it was harmless. Some people are over sensitive. Wanny always seems like a good guy. He's not a good coach, but does do a good job with his analysis.
Franklin gave him a shot during half time show. Wanny gave his top four in the Country and Franklin said, I am a coach, and will not comment about the selection committee.
That wasn't a shot at Wanny. It was just him being diplomatic concerning other teams.
Didnt see the game, but guessing this is much ado about nothing. At the very least, this was an opportunity to put our very best spokesperson front and center talking about Penn State during the Big Ten Conf Championship Game. That anyone's talking about us is a win for PSU. Especially with Shane Simmons' twitter clip being televised to a national audience.
Just like the Iowa band chanting "We Are Penn State" during Zombie Nation and the OSU student section wearing shirts saying the same, I say take the free publicity and enjoy it.
