Jonathan Taylor wins Doak Walker Award

As best RB in college football. He deserves it. How did the Heisman voters not have him in their top 4? Congrats to him. Seems like a great young man. Him, J.K. and Hubbard will all earn big money in the NFL.

Like most Wisconsin backs he's already taken a good bit of punishment the past three years - over 900 attempts. Compare to Dobbins, who will likely be drafted ahead of Taylor, who has about 700 carries over the same period.

I agree with that, but he deserved the award.

I think Wiscy’s oline is always responsible for the running game success up there.

Because the heisman is a horseshit award anymore. Straight up popularity (media) contest and facts be damned - just like when Saquon didn't even get an invite to the ceremony yet he was the most talented running back to come through college football in many years. Ignore the hype machine, focus on the positional awards which still have some semblance of awarding the most deserving player, and your mind won't hurt as much trying to figure out idiot heisman voters.
