I'm not going to be around most of the afternoon, so I can't keep this updated.

125:
Nick Suriano:
Pool 1 R1, 13-0 over KJ Fenstermacher
Pool 1 R2, 10-0 over Brian Courtney

152:
Mason Manville
Pool 2 R1, 3-0 over Eric Hong

Lots of other elite guys at Journeymen ... feel free to post their results, or to update on Suriano or Manville.

watching it on flo but can't quickly find a bout guide.... floating around to all the mats to see who is on them is tiresome... Don't see it on track either

Hope bveo from the other site (not sure his handle here) doesn't mind if I post more on Courtney so as to give context to Suriano's 2nd round performance:

Nick's up 2-0 after one with a slick TD and strong ride. He reminds me a lot of Nico!

Nick's up 8-0 after 2 periods.

Final 10-0. Looked very good against PIAA runner-up. Very much looking forward to seeing Suriano vs Arujau in the finals!
Just for reference: the "PIAA runner-up" was Brian Courtney from Athens. Courtney is an incoming HS JR. Finished 3rd and 2nd at states, both times losing to the eventual state champ. Those are his only career losses. He also just won NHSCA nationals. AWP ranks him "Honorable Mention" (i.e., 51-75) in the Class of 2017. He works out at the Finger Lakes Wrestling Club.

And Suriano just shut him out. Not even a cut escape.

Extremely telling... that a wrestler who won NHSCA Nationals and took 3rd and 2nd at PA States couldn't score a point against Nick Suriano. Wow. I knew Nick was a hammer... but that's an extremely impressive win against a very impressive kid in his own right.

Suriano go down on a reversal with under 10 seconds loses 2-1, didn't shoot the whole match he rides well but he didn't deserve to win that match

Just to update the results ...

125:
Nick Suriano:
Pool 1 R1, 13-0 over KJ Fenstermacher
Pool 1 R2, 10-0 over Brian Courtney
Pool 1 R3, won by forfeit over Nick Raimo
Championship: lost 1-2 to Vitali Arujau

152:
Mason Manville
Pool 2 R1, 3-0 over Eric Hong
Pool 2 R2, 5-0 over Jimmy Saylor
Pool 2 R3, 10-0 over Kyle Lawson

Hayden Hidlay
Pool 1 R1, 1-0 over Nick Monico
Pool 1 R2, 4-3 over Foster Karmon
Pool 1 R3, 10-3 over Mekhi Lewis

Championship: Hidlay over Manville, 3-1

Lose one match to a really good wrestler and all of a sudden...

<sarcasm>
Yeah we should just give up on Suriano now that he lost, like Manville. Clearly not elite.
</sarcasm>

Would like to see more offense out of Suri but the Arujau's are extremely talented. Great win over Courtney. Would've loved to see him and Raimo.

Manville with yet another solid tournament before running into his recent nemesis. Doesn't give up a point to three very talented guys. Lawson is no joke, putting up a 10-0 is impressive.

Hidlay has been having a great year and deserves praise.

Looks like Flo has completed its Master's thesis, titled "Saying Anything to Get Clicks Whether We Believe It Or Not," from the T.R. Foley School of Internetting.
