They are touted as having plenty of returners from "one of the nation's top defenses last season". To MY way of thinking that is SO much horsesh#t that it stinks to high hell. Has anyone even LOOKED at the 6 teams Temple beat last season? FIVE of them were among the absolute WORST teams in D-1 (and I dont think Del St is even D-1...they are a God-awful lower division school). Vandy, UConn, Tulsa, Del St, and Tulane...REALLY? I would HOPE they posted great defensive stats against that bunch of misfits.Throw in the fact that one of the more INEFFECTIVE offensive teams in the country last season, namely PSU, hung 30 points on them. "Elite" defense? I think not. I'm expecting a VERY good game from PSU's ofense, and not necessarily a ton of points but I expect them to do well vs a VASTLY overrated Temple D (IMO of course).
