Or, maybe, there is something else in those emails that is potentially very explosive, that is not "this" porn but is still going to open a whole new other can of worms, and she wants cover for when that happens. Maybe the porn is in with some other bad behavior that is going to rock the boat even more.

Why would Williams request the emails as part of the sting investigation? Why would emails totally unrelated to the case violate GJ rules?

They literally have no material worth to the prosecution unless it's specifically about the case.

In hindsight one could claim it shows racial bias. Just more political grandstanding by Kane as Williams had no idea what they contained.

The reality is the lead agent on the case was African American, as is Ali. Good luck proving racial targeting without those two confirming it.

I think the protective order has language to the effect that Kane cannot do anything to harm or attempt to intimidate material witnesses to the case, LIKE FINA. Yeah, hard to believe a judge would throw a cloak like that over this scumbag, isn't it? I have always suspected Judge Carpenter may be in those emails too. Then what would you say?

Hey, get it all out there. The people who think this is some partisan dustup ought to think again. And the people who think the AG's office has no trouble dealing with a woman as boss have not been paying attention. There were 31 people on KANE's OWN STAFF who were disciplined for the porny racist emails. Curious if anyone knows how many of them were holdovers from the previous administration?

Even if the emails included people Kane brought in, the fact is she disciplined them. The very best we can say about the previous regimes is they claimed ignorance about what was going on under their noses.
