Good to hear. He's a solid player but don't think he's anywhere near NFL ready

Safety position seems in good hands with Ellis, Reed, Wheatley, Winston, and Flowers and also possibly one of the true freshmen contributing as well. Ellis seemed to play well in the Rose Bowl but might not be the best of that group, but he's very experienced and a PSU legacy and will provide that group with some leadership.

Quality depth is huge. Whether he starts 75% of the reps...or is a 25% sub package guy...this is another key piece of the retention puzzle for 2023's depth.
