In the absence of KYPSW for this weekend, here's a totally meaningless (or is it?) competition. I have done the analysis, the Beta testing, run the model through my computer, even asked my statistician-daughter, and I've developed the competition to end all competitions. Answer the four simple questions below. In each case, the difference between your guess and the actual number (absolute values), summed for all four questions, is your total. Lowest overall number wins.

1) How many total bouts will Penn State guys wrestle this weekend (DEF's, FFT's and MFT's count as bouts)?
2) What % of ALL bouts (counting DEF's, FFT's, and MFT's) will be Bonus Point Wins for the Penn State wrestlers?
3) How many total losses will the 10 starters from this past Sunday's dual have?
4) How many total wins with all the guys that did NOT start this past Sunday have?

No need to copy/paste the questions. Just go;
1) 50
2) 60
3) 6
4) 20
Disclaimer: Example only

I wanted to be a smart a$$ and copy and paste your example, but I just couldn't say say the starters would have 6 losses. And I am not putting in a real guess because, after spending three days at a trade show my brain is fried! Maybe I will enter tomorrow.

But otherwise a very interesting contest!!

Who is the lame guy running KYPSW? He should have thrown something together for this. Oh, well.

1) 83
2) 66
3) 4
4) 13

This is awesome and I have no idea, so I will throw sh-hawkeys against the wall and mostly steal the general idea from the esteemed @pawrestlerintn.

1) 88
2) 57
3) 5
4) 12

I've been asked several questions, here and in person. I'm keeping the clarifying rules simple;
-- There are no clarifying rules!! :):)

Guys not going, coaches pulling a guy mid-tournament, number of wrestlers in each weight class, etc., etc., etc. Just do your best. Even if I know, I'm not telling :):).

OOps, there is ONE RULE...your date stamp MUST be earlier than 10:00am Sunday.

Is there a 1-day match limit? Gardner and Pipher could take an early loss and run through the consis. 6 matches, right?

If gopsusports is accurate the final answers are

1. 76 matches
2. 55% bonus
3. 4 losses by starters
4. 23 wins by non starters.

But final numbers up to Roar....

Yeah, hard to tell because of all the Medical Forfeits in the placement bouts. At least some of those were due to the limit of 6 matches in 1 day.
