I've no problem with it. I've no problem with it so long as those who are hosting have skin in the game. So that should the asylum seeker not show up for his (or her) court date then you as the sponsor are subject to the criminal and civil penalties in their place. And it remains in effect so long as the asylum seeker 'lives in the shadows'. Respondent superior. Let the master answer. The legal precedent is there. Use it.
