Lamar just had an unannounced press conference in which he revealed that he will take advantage of the NCAA’s new rules that allow players to hire agents and go through the process leading toward the draft while maintaining their eligibility, which he is doing by continuing to go to class.
I’ll have more from Lamar, who discussed some other things but didn’t elaborate much more than that, a bit later this afternoon.
He did not say that there are baselines of feedback he wants to hear before making a yes or no decision to go or come back for his final season at Penn State.
Head coach Patrick Chambers also indicated that Mike Watkins is going through the same process.
