I would be he doesnt need to go out of state often for recruiting. Lots of good players in FL who just arent quite good enough to get a scholly from UF, FSU, Da U, etc.

perfect situation for Kiffin. no real pressure to win, if he goes 7-5 and gets to a bowl game it is considered a success. he is coaching in Florida (Not in middle of nowhere northern USA). he can recruit the local area of Florida/Georgia/Alabama/Louisiana for pretty much all of his recruiting such that he doesn't have a crazy travel schedule. Making million plus dollars per year. not a bad life.
