When was the last time a PSU wrestler lost by fall?

When was the last time a PSU starter lost by fall that wasn't 125. I think Vespa or Steen lost by fall, but I'm honestly not sure.

Our starters gave up 3 pins last year. Nagao in the Michigan dual (Ragusin in SV), Truax in the Ohio State dual (Rogotzke), and Truax in the NCAA consi semis (Munoz).

I legit couldn't tell you the last time a PSU upper AA lost by fall.

RBY did to Gomez at the Scuffle as he was leading 8-3 but he was lower AA level that year.

Is 5th upper? Diehl over Nick? If not, Bubba?
No, but if it were, then Truax last year would be the most recent.

Offhand: Nico got pinned in his FR year when he made the finals (can't remember by whom). Q got pinned in his SO year when he won the title (IIRC it was vs Minny). Taylor vs Jenkins in the finals.

Dylan Alton got pinned by Ness -- he didn't place that year, but it was in the regular season after he finished 3rd, and he was ranked right around there at the time.

Didn't Nevills get pinned once? Gulibon?

Rogotzke is one of the most fun guys to watch (as long as he's on the other team, LOL) because you never know when he's going to catch and stick pretty much anyone. Kind of like Andonian.

It's been over 7 years now, but Jimmy Gullibon was pinned three times in a single tournament, at the 2017 BIG championship.

Hey, someone else brought up Jimmy Gullibon before I did!
I originally wrote that Gulibon had been pinned multiple times but realized I'd get the dreaded Buzz Kill GIF so softened it. 😉

I never did figure out what happened to Jimmy. Did he lose his love for the sport? Injury?

Rutt of Wisconsin pinned Q.
He got pinned once his Freshman year too.

This.

2018 first round Nick Lee got pinned by Ryan Diehl. Nick was home grown and higher ranked, but I am not sure about the phase of the moon.

Edit: Never mind. It was a waning crescent with only 4% showing, so almost the opposite of a full moon. The search continues.

It definitely has to be waxing to count. Moon phase is important in these matters.
