Lacrosse recruiting is insanity. Totally manipulated rankings by club coaches. Honestly pay zero attention. Jeff knows kids. We are going to be good for a long time.
Thanks. I now remember hearing about that in the past too . No doubt we are lucky to have Jeff who seems to have his finger on the pulse of New York and PA HS lax .
I live in the middle of it and that party of the mentioned recruiting manipulation. Club team you play on here in central MD has a lot to do with where you are ranked. Lots of good players but lots of overhyped ones too. Jeff is doing well with the jersey area.
Damn, can't they let mt alma mater be good at just one sport...

Sounds pretty normal. Usually after you get beyond the A’s and B+’s it’s a crap shoot. Same with pro drafts. 1st and 2nd rd’s usually have a pretty good chance of sticking. Coaches look for kids who fit their system. Trust the coaches eyes and coaching ability. Penn State has not recruited amongst the elite yet here they are.

Yes... I would think this year opens a lot of doors for PSU recruiting. PSU is here to stay on the Lax scene. PSU should be able to recruit against anyone now going forward.
IF they make it to Philly. If they don't, I'm afraid much of this season's run will quickly fade to gray.
Especially important given the amount of returning firepower. This could be a nice two year run that allows for multiple great recruiting classes.
Exactly. The timing is perfect. They just have to execute now.
Here's an extended reach: my close friend's LAX mentor's nephew is the goalie for Penn State. My friend is a well-respected LAX coach and official in Texas. He will be officiating an NCAA tourney (Div. 2 or 3, I think) in Dallas.
