I'm a relatively new poster but have enjoyed reading most of the information on the forum for years. I have noticed more recently a trend that I am not enjoying.

What often starts as a good thread gradually devolves into petty bickering where the focus becomes trying to "prove" who is right, who is wrong, and often includes personal attacks on people and teams. What is the purpose of all of this?

I am fine with people expressing their opinions. Sometimes I agree with those opinions and other times I don't. In fact, my belief is that these forums are designed for people to share their opinions, however ill informed they may be at times. However, let's strive to elevate the discourse on this board. In fact, I suggest we take our lead from Cael and keep it fun. If it's good enough for Cael, it's good enough for me.

I'm just grateful for the opportunity to be more correct than my adversaries

Great idea in theory, but good luck with that. People are people, it's gonna happen, just gotta figure who you can live with and who you have to put on Ignore.

The tone was pretty good during the NCAA tournament. So there is hope!
