Well, I mean, if he ends up wrestling Carter, it’s probably gonna be in the parking lot, so yeah. I could see that would be hell. It’s actually hard to drag kid (grown man) because I think you need that mindset to win, but when you put it on tape and you fall short, you look silly.

The adrenaline is flowing for this guy like Bo. I laughed and had no problem with his bold talk. Personally, I love it when guys talk a bit and get away from the canned answers. Pure entertainment. The guy is competitor. I would bet Jason Nolf would say the same. #grateful

It's a perhaps-ironic tell when you're postulating what others are thinking about you, because not only is that entirely out of your control, you've revealed that your focus is in places other than yourself. Maybe that imagined-slight worldview works for some guys (I might infer he's been influenced by his teammate at 125) but Massa has never been the guy he's imagining himself to be there, so it's highly doubtful anyone in the upper tier of 174 was either.
To Berger's credit, he backed all of it up. He didn't beat Jason -- he's hardly alone there -- but he dramatically improved in a short period of time and got 4 of the 5 heads.
Meanwhile, Massa has completely crapped his pants since that interview.
I just think it's a guy trying to psych himself out and getting himself ready. And maybe a little hoping it might get into someone else's head. Nothing much to see here....
