And if the truth ever comes out at PSU?
The tip of the iceberg being KCF?
What happens at University Park?
I’ll ask. What is KCF?And if the truth ever comes out at PSU?

Hope Nick Cross is feeling good about that compromise he struck with his parents.

I think KFC is grossly over-rated. Much better fried chicken at Popeye's or Church's.
If it's gotta be fast food, you go with the world leader and that's Micky D's all the way. Wendys a close second.I think KFC is grossly over-rated. Much better fried chicken at Popeye's or Church's.
This is more or less a normal, business-as-usual response by accreditation groups to high-profile scandals. PSU (Sandusky-related), UNC (fake classes), Maryland. The groups have decided that they can’t just sit back and say nothing, so they don’t.Sounds like there on probation for 8 months for the McNair death.
Come to think of it, I’ll keep an eye on Michigan State. This is more or less a normal, business-as-usual response by accreditation groups to high-profile scandals. So, basically, a bunch of administrators and their cronies are protecting their turf by using the threat of de-accredation (which will never happen) to put a school’s governing board in its place. Not surprising. Professional academia is a cesspool.

If you lose your accreditation then you lose federal student-aid funds. Also, it really hurts students who want to go on to graduate school as generally it’s expected that your Bachelor’s be from an accredited school. Enrollment would plummet. Vicious cycle, you get the idea.Factually... do you think this accredation matters for UMD?
At some point these schools will say... go for it.

All I can say is, good luck with that.I am saying that these massive state universities really do not need this accreditation and at one point will say so.

Which means the people who get hurt by this are innocent college students, which sucks, and also makes me wonder why some think this is funny, because it is NOT.
I think it's because of Wally Loh's choice in bow ties.
Yes, zero chance of this happening. At the same time, Maryland has taken steps to attempt to ensure that the “problems” are “fixed.” They haven’t been sitting on their hands. I’m not aware of any school with issues just sitting there and daring the group to pull their accreditation. It’s not that hard to remain accredited, and it forces the school to take a fresh look at its issues, which is usually a good thing. The upside of playing along is worth it, especially in comparison with the downside of losing accreditation. There is zero chance this accreditation is pulled. Do you realize how powerful UMD is vs this stupid group?
DC pols would be up in arms and the entire system would change.
