I tried to google his name to get his minor league statistics but did not get much. Does anyone know a good source of info on him? We heard early on
how he was doing but professional baseball is a day to day grind, even though Lonnie is only playing a partial season and obviously consistency
of performance is the key and the difficulty of baseball as one sees different pitchers every day and has to continually adjust. I know someone
said why is Lonnie even a concern on this board as he will never play here. I see it differently. Lonnie is to me part of PSU's extended family.
He loved football and baseball and how many of us would have turned down his baseball opportunity with the big bonus. He
could have played football, got injured, and never made a dime, we will never know. Thank you for getting info if you know how to get it. I personally will
be following Lonnie's career and who knows he could always study at PSU some time- he has the money to pay tuition!
