which wrestlers outside the 1s / 2s - do you think hinders PSU's chances to advance?

Is UVA's Jack Mueller a real threat to Suriano? How about Sean Russell?

Visualizing a make-shift 33man bracket - outside the Finals/Semi's ... who's standing out that could give us fits in your mind?

...my brain is spinning...
...in Cael we trust...
...I'm not gonna spend any time thinking about combinations and permutations...
...I think I will just look forward to watching everything play out...

Since Muller and Russell could end up being seeded around 8th or 9th I would be OK with one of them being matched up with Nick. That possibility strongly indicates a top seed for Nick. The only way that happens is if Nick were the Big10 champion.

This seems fun, going by "ranked more than 2 below but dangerous"
125: Townsell, new 125 from Stanford impressed me at Midlands, very explosive
133: All of them?
141: (don't say Cruz don't say Cruz don't say Cruz) Cruz (DAMMIT)
149: Zain Retherford
157: Jason Nolf
165: Matthews from Edinboro, maybe Palacio?
174: Bernstein? Not sure how he's wrestling this year, Navy kids always tough
184: Jackson. Bo's never quite looked himself against him
197: Let's go with Robertson
285: Haines, just for the drama

Love it. Thread is a pessimist's dream.

125- R of 16- Terao / Quarters- Josh Rodriguez
Terao should be seeded higher than 15, but I wouldn't want to see him. Probably just name bias, but there's that. Josh Rodriguez is quick, tough, strong, and hard to score on. He doesn't do anything better than Nick, but he could steal one in a 1 TD match.

141- R of 16- Heil
Gulibon would never, never, ever win a scramble with Heil.

149- Not concerned

157- Not concerned

165- R of 16- Palacio, Valencia / Quarters- Massa
Palacio shouldn't need an explanation. I do think Valencia will be too high for them to meet early on. Possibly 7-10 matchup if Joseph loses to Rogers or something. Massa would mean Joseph is a 7-seed. I'd be fine with Joseph facing Jordan or Lewis in the quarters.

174- R of 16- Preisch / Quarters- Valencia
I think Hall will be seeded too high to face Preisch early, but don't wanna see it. Valencia is super talented. Want him on the other side.

184- Dean should be on the other side of the bracket. Even if Nickal lost at Big Tens, he should still get the 3-seed. Don't really want Martin in the Quarters.

197- As long as Cutch avoids 1-4 seeds, all the potential R of 16 candidates are pretty blah. Cutch could win or he could lose.

Hwt- R of 16- Butler / Quarters- Walz
Something about that November match that was too close for comfort. Nick has gotten better since then, but Butler is an experienced wrestler (internationally, too) with a few big wins. Give me Kasper in the quarters, please.
