Still hard to fathom how Donovan Smith ran a 5.01 40 at 338 pounds. Damn.

anyway, given what we saw on Saturday, I'd say it's safe to assume Smith was pretty much all that held last year's OL together. Not that they were much to see, but clearly they were better than what we saw Saturday (with reference to how we performed vs BC where our offense came alive... and yes, I know Miles played. but barely).

Big shoes to be filled.

Hard to believe that allowing "only" 44 sacks could ever be considered relatively good.

Maybe Smith is healthier now. He was just as much of a liability on the offensive line last year as the other guys.
