Didn’t want to put this in the other thread because many would get a severe case of the vapors. And I fully expect the same here and it will eventually be deleted. But the elephant in the room that a couple alluded to but everyone fears to tread is the Inauguration.
A lot of people watched it all day long with a huge number of events taking place that will reshape the country and the world far more than a silly college football game. Like it or not, agree or disagree, this is a tectonic shift that shook the world.
And during the game President Trump was signing EO after EO after EO, many of which will have a dramatic and immediate impact. Between each one he explained what each one and what it was designed to do.
He was also taking questions from the press on any subject and giving a lot insight into his thoughts on a wide range of subjects. Was quite the shift to see a President go nearly two hours on any subject with no restrictions or prior knowledge.
I have no doubt a lot of people were watching that instead of a football game. Watching live is the only way to know accurately what he did and said instead of hearing through the filter of various media outlets.
Lots of people happy, lots of people worried about how they would be affected but important to all.
