Ahead of today's circus act it's important to know the following.
- Vindman's family emigrated from the Ukraine when he was a kid. How can one be involved in the foreign policy of his country of origin without having some implicit bias. That's a rhetorical question. You simply cannot.
- By testifying today Lt. Col. Vindman is questioning a president's authority to set foreign policy. Since when is it a soldier's right to 'weigh in' on foreign policy. Ergo, he has no business being in a political forum.
- Lastly, it wasn't the government of the Ukraine which persecuted Jews. It was the former Soviet Union, an archenemy of the Ukraine. This makes for a powerful motive to get foreign aid to the Ukraine (to include Javelin missiles) come hell or high water. Yes?
