I’ve thought it could have been his brother and other nephew. Who knows. And the whole car thing is crazy.I still want to hear how the "real" killer managed to get Teresa's DNA into Avery's backyard firepit.

If you thought the DA’s in that case proved Avery’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, I hope you never serve on a jury.
Ya I don't buy it. The DNA in the firepit is hard to argue. Although I always thought putting her car in your junkyard was a little stupid and obvious.
Sometimes the simplest answer is the right answer. Usually 95% of the time.

And folks love a good conspiracy.I always thought the state railroaded these two. Even with this 'confession' I wouldn't look for a quick resolution. The system hates to acknowledge a mistake.
I guess I didn't realize you sat through the entirety of the trial.
And there was a large amount of misdeeds done by the prosecution...either through incompetence or unethical behavior...I’m not saying I know which one, but they definitely had their fair share of questionable behavior.I didn't have to. With what I know about the case between watching both seasons of the documentary and sitting in on a symposium given by one of Avery's defense attorneys a couple of weeks ago, there's plenty of reasonable doubt there.

This is not a true statement. Investors found charred bones in the fire pit and wouldn't let the county coroner near the site, which is completely illegal. Burn barrels were taken off scene and returned before the remains were found. There were also 4 bones and blood found at a quarry adjacent to the property. The cadaver dogs initially lead them there.I still want to hear how the "real" killer managed to get Teresa's DNA into Avery's backyard firepit.
Again, nothing to see here folks. After watching both seasons and reading a lot about the case, I am pretty confident that Steven Avery is guilty so it would be a complete shock if it turns out some serial killer did it and set it up to frame Steven.
That said, the fact that Brendan Dassey was convicted and is STILL in prison for this is reprehensible. That poor kid was railroaded in his interrogation and the "confession" he gave didn't even make sense when compared to the physical evidence.
I don't think Avery's lawyer buys it either.Count me in as one who believed Steven Avery was guilty.
