UConn really clicking tonight...that West Region Elite 8 game on Saturday will be a really good game regardless of which team wins tonight's late game.
They're probably about the 20th-30th best team in the country...they're pretty darn good.
And if May somehow decided to hang around one more year and everyone with eligibility comes back, they could be even better next year.
They'll get blown out in the 2nd half. They are not a top 30 team. Got a lucky matchup with Memphis then beat a 16 seed.
They were a top 20-30 team coming into the tournament, regardless of their first two games…they are way better than some realize.
21st in Pomeroy, 28th in Torvik, etc
FAU only opens as a 2 point underdog to Kansas St on Saturday (I have it as virtually a pick ‘em).
Texas looking really good. The way everything is breaking right now, there is a good chance that they come out of tonight as the betting favorite to win it all.
Well, the talking heads have all been wrong about this tournament, so forgive me if I don't put any money down against FAU.
This tournament was a tough one to call since there aren’t really any great teams….possibly the four worst #1 seeds that I can recall, but not sure there were any teams better (except maybe Texas should have been a #1 seed).
FAU-Kansas State is another great game. This has been one of the better tournaments in recent memory.
Love seeing FAU beating KST. FAU has some great players and surprising size for a non P5 conf team. Unfortunately there's just no way their coach is leaving all that to come north to PSU.......

I would take less money to spend my winters in Boca Raton.

So would take a half mil over four million just to stay in Boca? Even if you only last three years that’s 12 mil vs 1.5 mil.

Yes they are but I don't like the showboating of UCONNs guards. Low class. I really don't think anyone will beat UCONN - too deep, too athletic, and plenty of size off the bench.
Timmy is normally the lead showboater. He got called this game for some of the little pushes and cheap plays that are part of his normal game and it's nice to see the Zags go down in flames.
