Went to the Mardi Gras in 1975 and vowed to not miss it if I was single. Went again in 1976 and 1977. Married later in 1977 so I haven't been back for Mardi Gras, but spent a week in NO last year with my wife. Bourbon Street was a little too sleezy for an old guy, but the rest of the French Quarter was great. Great memories, love the city's culture. And the food!

New Orleans is one of my favorite cities. I've had a lot of fun there over the years. I have family born and raised there as well. I was there last October and had a blast.
