I've been watching footage of Mark winning tournaments with super tough competitors ( nolf-marsteller-international studs etc) feels like I'm watching the ultimate tournament wrestler. We'll know more in four weeks but can't help feeling he has already beaten tougher fields when you factor in his age and experience.

I strongly agree with you...He is GREAT in big tournaments !!!!

You ALREADY can see the difference between Mark in his first match at Carver Hawkeye, and the current Mark....He just won a match at Gallagher Iba, that he would have lost one month ago....

Every time he steps on the mat he gets better. That's the Cael way.

His first junior worlds being the only exception that I can think of. That same guy beat him at junior duals too (Greco). But no true consis is awful. Who knows if he would have come back for true bronze or not. But just making it through the trials in his first year of eligibility was impressive enough.

Yes. He has beaten A LOT of older elite wrestlers in big time tournaments....He will be our Big Ten Champion !!!! He is just wrestling on a complete different level know....Has always been super in tournaments....Glad Cael pull his red shirt....He would not have pulled it if he didn't think he would be a National Champ !!!!

Hall has tons of talent for sure. I am confident he will do well this year and I don't worry that he will choke under pressure. My concern would be that he is giving up some size at 174 and might take a loss from a guy with less skill but more horsepower.

There aren't too many 174 pounders bigger than Crutchmer. Off hand, I can't think of one, although there might be.

He just has another gear come tournament time....Been that way in very tough tournaments too...Ask Nolf Cenco and Bo....lol...Mark is a BEAST in a tournament setting....

Has Mark Hall ever beaten Bo? Don't think so.

Assuming Mark and Bo make the finals...win or lose, it's a bout Mark will use to continue to learn about himself. Trust the process.

I was talking about Bo Nickal. Thought that's who Spike was referring to with "Ask Nolf Cenzo and Bo ..."
