Marky Gets A Match

These events are all growing that's pretty darn cool.

Its only a matter of time until it trickles down to HS. That will be interesting

Man. Nate is going to have like 7-8” on him.

Very different styles, too.

Another fun match. Nate with the experience, Mark with the better talent base. Since it's freestyle, I'm hard-pressed to make it any but a toss-up. We'll see.

Well I don't like his chances at 86kg. Is there any good reason to not have 79kg as an Olympic weight? Mark is very good but he is a tweener, sad.

I think I’ve missed others from the card, but this matchup is pretty interesting.

I'm curious but gotta think Darmstadt is a big favorite. He's long and lanky for 197, meanwhile Rogers was a college 165.

That is, unless they wrestle closer to 184, where Darmstadt struggled with the cut. But even then, is Rogers big/strong enough?

I would tend to agree....but guessing the check will clear no matter what :) #grossgottechedandstillgotpaid

Rogers does seem too small, but there will definitely be some points scored.
Nearly all of them by Darmstadt. I can't see this ending well for Rogers (especially given his record against Cornell wrestlers: 0-4 against Chavez/Womack/Realbuto).

Anyone available to give a PBP for Markie?

I let my subscription lapse. I will probably re-up for the February NLWC event for sure, and stay month to month based upon available content.

Did they cancel the Joseph and Hall matches or are they about to happen?

I thought Cenzo 100% got exposure the first scramble but McFadden worked him in every other position. Wasn't remotely close.
well I thought Cenzo wrestled a different match once he was behind. He should have scored early and corner should have thrown the brick. Once behind he started getting a little desperate, loose, and careless... However, he is just coming back to the mat and he is up a little

Hard to remember the last time (if any) Cenzo and Marky lost in same night. Tough night for the boys

March 2019 unfortunately .... Bo ended on a high note though.

EDIT: I think that might be the ONLY night they lost together at Penn State.

Transitive reasoning doesn't always work in wrestling, but Nolf pretty much handled (a seemingly bigger ... if I recall correctly) McFadden and Dake completely shut out and shut down McFadden.

I assume that Joseph is going to compete at 74 KG. Is he qualified for the trials already?

Cenzo said on the Baschamania podcast that he’s walking around at less than 79kg right now. I have to imagine he’s quite a bit lighter than McFadden now, if that’s the case.
