That's wrong. Those players, to the best of my knowledge, didn't do anything.
The only good to come from that is that it sends a pretty clear message of what the world outside of East Lansing thinks about MSU, not that anyone there is necessarily paying much attention.

Really? Are memories that short that people don't recall opposing fans doing the same kind of shit to our kids? Disgusting.
Just remember, the overwhelmingly VAST majority of those associated with MSU (including athletics) had absolutely nothing to do with their scandal. We, of all people, could/should empathize.
I just turned on the game. maryland is up by 12 early in the 2nd half. Three quick observations:
1. tom izzo is still coaching.
2. michigan state players on the bench are wearing T-shirts that say "WE TALK WE LISTEN". Hmm...
3. michigan state's uniforms are green with gold. What's with the gold? The football team did that a few years ago, but their colors are supposed to be green and white. Their athletic supporters don't cheer "go green!", "go gold!".

totally agree - human nature at its worst. everything in East Lansing cannot be evil all of a sudden.
Don't follow basketball. But according to the MSU board Ward was "raped" continuously tonight. I have no idea who Ward is.

Sad, unfortunate, disgraceful. ESPN and click bait seekers are now thinking for our college students.
I feel for the current players that obviously had nothing to do with the situaiton....all the comments and such should be directed at the coaches, administrators and people who failed to do their jobSo ugly all around. Sad that a few here who were so outraged
I worked about a mile down the road from the main Maryland campus when they won the NC in 2002. I quickly drove the other way after I got off work. these people are the literal definition of crazed sports fans.
