I think that has to be the plan. He earned it with his first place this weekend plus you really need a backup to Rasheed in case of injury or bonking. Maybe the coaches will give Hammond a start as well depending how close they are in the room now

I have a (possibly) stupid question. The idea of being attached versus unattached: does this have something to do whether the wrestler is a red-shirt? If so, can red-shirt wrestle attached at any time?

Not stupid at all. You can not wrestle attached if you are redshirting. If you wrestle attached, you would lose a year of eligibility (unless there were a medical hardship waiver granted later). Wrestling unattached means that you have to pay your own way, no PSU singlet and no PSU coaches in your corner. If you wrestle attached, you are not redshirting and the school can pick up expenses. There can not be more than 5 or 6 attached wrestlers at an event or it counts against the team competition points - not sure which off the top of my head.

I believe Dinmore wrestled there last year under that affiliation. Probably some sort of software thing that imported his team from last year. Wouldn't read anything into it at this point.

Some changes in the PSU registrations. One of the Vincenzo Josephs has withdrawn from the tournament, and Gary Dinmore has rejoined the team.

Looks like Cody Law and Geno Morelli have withdrawn. Brian Brill and Scott Stossel have been added.

Brill against Fox Baldwin would be interesting.
