Mitchell is a redshirt freshman, if he wrestles that means he’s a go right? Only true freshman can use the 5 match rule right?

Guys on the roster not listed as going:

Wentzel
Vespa
Schindledecker
Garcia
Levine
Heard
Gibson
Borden
Joe Lee
Kelly
Fricchione

It is likely Journeyman has an entry limit the way things are set up. The list of going and not-going seems to very strongly correlate with a pecking order, just based on educated guessing. So, a couple of observations:
  • Davis looks as if he is a consideration if Howard goes down again.
  • Shunk may get the call early season
  • 165 is very much in the air (you could read that in Cael's earlier comments)
  • Cochran is pulling double duty this year as 197/285 backup
Not much there, AND this is all total speculation and could be way off. Yeah, glad the offseason is almost over. Seeing this list made me soooo glad I got tickets to this. Of course, we'll see who actually takes the mat Sunday.
