Match Notes for Lehigh and MSU duals

I definitely read this as a no go for Nick. We'll see if Cael says something different tonight, but this is an official release and seems definitive.

A poster on The Mat had the match as 5-5. From the rankings I see PSU favored in 7, LU favored in 2, with one tossup at 165.

Match notes are not determinative of the ultimate matchups, IMO[/QUOTE

Not sure what you mean, even where two possibilities were posted, the favorite was pretty clear. Thus the tossup at 165. Are you disputing the rankings used in the article? I have also seen predictions go the other way with PSU winning 9 of 10.

I was responding to Wrestler2U's post and the possibility of Nevills wrestling, Colorado, not who is favored in the individual matchups. I'm sure you are correct based on the match notes. I see Lehigh as favorites at 184 and 285 (Nevills or not, although I think a healthy Nevills beats Wessel) and 141 and 165 as tossups.

More likely in the PSU vs. MSU match - PSU 50 team points or MSU 10? This one's ugly no matter how you look at it.

0% chance of Michigan State getting to 10 pts, barring at least one injury default.

The Spartans have fallen on really tough times. Not a single wrestler in any weight class in InterMat's top-20 rankings

My bad. Just went on your post following mine and didn't see who you were responding to.

MSU features 2 wrestlers with a winning record! Minkel deserves a standing ovation from Rec Hall for always assuring us that we will not finish in last place in the conference.

We all know Cael can't coach. Advantage: Minkel.
