FWIW, I would be interested in an explanation of the suspected business and political shenanigans at the second mile. I've always heard about it but have never read a good explanation about what was exactly going on.

(IIRC)I'm sure more people will chip in, but PSU gave the second mile land for free out by the airport. Heim's mansion is on some of the land. As soon as it all went down, second mile's land was quickly sold off and developed by the BOT members who are developers (Poole?).

BOT members also donated to 2nd mile, 2nd mile donated $650,000 to corbett's campaign, corbett suggests freeh to investigate penn state, bot says they'll hire freeh if he agrees not to investigate the 2nd mile, penn state will settle with anybody seen with sandusky as long as they sign paperwork not to sue the second mile, etc.

Factually false. It was board members of TSM that made campaign donations to Corbett as individuals, which, of course, is perfectly legal on its face. Some of your other statements of "fact" I've never heard before (which doesn't necessarily make them false), and some are inferences by you, which may or may not prove to be true.

I wish I had known the douche, but we did not, it appears, run in the same circles. Still true today. I would be happy to punch him right now, but he probably would get some sort of special protection as a pretend presidential candidate.

He was near tears on air when Joe died. But he doesn't spend every waking minute of life talking about Joe, and he had questions about what happened, so he's dead to everyone here. Same way loons on here fling venom at Lavar and Tali.

I'm actually surprised Ziggy hasn't gone after Devon Still for not using his platform to try to exonerate Joe. Or even worse: exonerate Sandusky. That's how deplorable Ziggy and his followers are.

He was a hell of a Penn State football player and I like Matt Millen as a color analyst, but I'm surprised no one here has ever challenged his role as a Second Mile board member and major donor.

He served, like others, because he thought it would help HIM.
