McHenry to ScUM according to FLO

Beat me to it. Really thought it was down to us and Cornell ( from what I’ve heard/read ). Looks like they’re setting up to have a nice team in the near future

Did Harbaugh sleep over his house, too?

Oh well no biggie. Teske is better and is going to be a BEAST at 125. This opens things up better if you look at the big pic. Yes i agree lets get Bus who is a very good 125. Much better things to come. IMO

Amazing ....just a few weeks ago you wrote this:

I want Kurt McHenry way more than Busiello....McHenry is SUPER....He will probably be the #1 recruit in the nation his Sr. year....He beats ELITE guys a lot bigger then him....He will wrestle 120 as a SR....My wishes...I want McHenry really bad....Cael has been following him real close lately!!!!We all know for sure he will be a 125 pounder 4 years....Yes. We "MUST" make room for Mchenry to say the least!!!!After a red shirt he could be a 4 time NCAA Champ.

Now it is no biggie? I thought we might have to talk you down from the ledge :)

At least Spyker still has Edmond Ruth to drool over.

Didn't really expect McHenry to come to PSU, but disappointed nonetheless because McHenry is such a talent. And, yeah, didn't expect Michigan.

"Pico can take him"

--Everyone other than Penn State for 3 straight years in response to the PSU 149 pounder--

When you need to knock a wrestler down, Pico is your go-to, so I say Pico>McHenry.

The correct answer is yes!
I never got that. "Futility" is just a bad term for not winning a title that only one team/competitor can achieve per season. Those extended periods of "futility" assume that the only goal every season regardless of talent level/ circumstance was to end the season as the champion. Very unrealistic.

Then you probably shouldn't be you calling yourself the "Leaders and Best".

Damn you jumped off the McHenry train quickly. And all it took was him not going to PSU. Oh, Spyker.

"C,mon guys...."

I kinda thought he might be out of Drool......Kurt went from being the "must have" #1 recruit in the Nation who could be a 4X NCAA Champ.......to ...."Teske is better". So Teske got a LOT better in 3 weeks :)

We will have none of this pointing out hypocrisy!!! Not allowed.

Room bump. It happens quickly. Even if through osmosis.

Seriously though. Teske is going to be way better than just serviceable.

If you had to bet your house on it, would you say Teske is the PSU starter after his 2nd year in the room?

I tend to agree with you that he is going to be good but I can't predict the future. But one thing I can pretty much guarantee......his success or lack thereof will not be from lack of effort.

Agreed. Michigan has historically been good at achieving Schembechler's annual goal of losing in the Rose Bowl.

Zain beat Lougie Bear, Bo got beat by in the finals once and Jason lost (injury default, but still) this year as did Captain America. I am probably not betting my house on pretty much any athletic situation.

But, yes I believe Teske is the 125 pound starter after his second year in the room and stepping high onto the podium.

If you believe that than as your financial advisor I would continue to advise you to avoid betting on any athletic situation

Michigan football is always the best. If they have a couple losses they are the best two loss team, if 3 then 3, if 4, 5 or 6 then they are the bezt 4, 5 or 6 loss team. If they ever finish a football season undefeated then we will hear how they are the best undefeated team. That has to happen first though.

I guess we will see. Apparently you must believe Cael recruited the kid to be a workout partner.
Huge motor, unable to quit, teachable with a strong fundamental base walking into the room. To me he sounds like other kids who have had some decent success at Penn State.

I have little doubt that Teske will be the starter within 2-3 years. Teasdale deciding he is a career 125 would be the one thing making that unlikely. I guess Busiello could stay small, but most every projection has him as a 141 in the future. Teske will not likely be outworked and he fully understands he needs to improve.

I think he was playing along with your statement about not betting on athletic situations.

As to the original question: process of elimination says, barring injury, Teske seems like the 125 starter in 2020 -- who else could it be? Teasdale making 125 for 2 years is far from given. Busiello's weight is uncertain, and probably the coaches would prefer to shirt him.

Not sure what other 2019 prospects could start at 125 as a true FR -- probably only Colaiocco and Ford-Melton -- or if Cael is after any of them.

The correct answer is yes!
I like to first mention my disdain for Michigan, of all Big Ten teams I have more disregard for the Wolvereens than any other program including Ohio State. I personally know a few grads of UM and they just have an air that their school if more intellectual and refined than Penn State.
With that being noted I would like to correct the statement about 1.5 championships since 1948. That would be very incorrect. I knew their hockey team has been very good over the years so I researched the statement.
Michagan has won 28 championships since 1948.Mostly in hockey and gymnastics.

Not pleased, but you can't blame a kid for picking Michigan for school reasons. As much as I'm usually underwhelmed by Michigan grads they do seem to get a boost from the name when it comes to job placement.

Keep your eyes on Brock McMillen from Glendale. Took 2nd place as a freshman this year in AA at Hershey and will grow. He's going at Flo Nationals for Young Guns WC. I've seen this kid and he is something special.
