I always enjoy Jim Carlson’s work. He does a great job covering Penn State Wrestling.

So, Schnupp showed last year he was skilled...and very scrappy too. He was just undersized/underpowered compared to the other B10 125's. Has anyone seen him? Does he pass the eye test at this point? I guess we find out real shortly!

Schnupp fan here, and stand behind him 100%. He's given the same opportunity to go as all the other 125 guys on the team, which could play out through the Scuffle. He knows it's about being the guy that can score most at Nationals. Maybe it's him, maybe it's not...he knows the situation, and his chances.

Sounds like him and Teske will do some open tournaments and then enter at Scuffle. If one of them seperates themselves, Cael may pull the shirt. If not or if Cael doesn't think they need the points, maybe they stick with Schnupp and keep the redshirts on both. We'll learn more after we see these guys on the mat. There's no rush, Cael will let it play out.
