Basketball Micah Shrewsberry answers questions about his future

Worked in DC and metro area for about 13 years. Hour to hour and a half commute those years. Did well professionally there and had opportunity to move to state college and jumped at the chance. Traffic in DC was horrible even on weekends. Hour commute in DC went to 10 minutes in state college.

After a couple of years a friend also moved to state college from DC. He said it was great to only have a 10 minute commute. I told him to wait, that 10 minute commute and red lights will drive you crazy in a short time. He laughed but a few years later agreed with me.😀

pretty sure a lot of psu graduates do that exact thing every year
So many posters here seem to think that everyone on the planet has the same thoughts, opinions and preferences as themselves. Many people in this world would dislike living in a rural town like State College and would highly favor a more urban city like DC.

Yep. We are all diverse and unique, with our own varied tastes, priorities, preferences, and lifestyles. So, we live in different🏝areas🏔accordingly.

One person says toe-may-toe and one says Toe-mawh-toe.

Just like in everything, some people are wrong and the rest of us are right.😀

I would guess that the win Thursday added a couple million to Micah’s potential contract, another one tonight would mean at least the same.

There are two kinds of people: ones that agree with me and ones that have the right to be wrong.

so at that rate if he wins the national title he will get paid about $18 million next year?

I suspect that if they adjust his salary from 2 million to 3.5, which is in line with his peers, he isn't going anywhere

it was somewhat justified to bring him in lower since he had never been a hc before, but, its no longer justified to underpay him relative to the conference

could be.

they were not good this year after being picked 5th preseason

he might not be that good
saying you aren't going there can also mean they turned you down
Holtmann did a sorry job of evaluating the upper classmen that he brought in. Zed Key's going down for the year HURT. He was starting 4 true freshmen the last ten games of the season and that's when OSU started winning. They have a couple of state players of the year coming in next year and should be really good

"should be" is the key phrase

nobody enjoys more bs media pumping than OSU. they have far surpassed Notre Dame at this point. if they had Penn State's record and run to the BTT final they would have become a 5-seed. we got a 10
