Someone on the Rutgers board opined that the tough part of Rutgers' schedule is passed. It's not really accurate because they wrestled zero ranked teams before the Scuffle, have had 3 ranked teams since and have 5 more ranked teams to go. Only Indiana and Michigan in their remaining 7 opponents are not ranked.

Then it hit me - Michigan might be the weakest opponent on the rest of their schedule. Let that settle with you for a second. Michigan. Out of the top 25 this season. I know they have ORSs for half of what would be half their starting lineup, but .... damn!!!

It's a weird, weird season and not just in Happy Valley.

Btw, Army is ranked in the top 20 by both Intermat and Flo.

You talking Michigan or Michigan State?

The former beat Minny yesterday. With the likes of Silva, Storr, Lewan, Embree, and Parris, they still bring a heckuva lot more to the table than Rutgers.

So are some Rutgers fans already looking ahead to good teams being out of their remaining schedule? Are they the NY Jets or something?

J-E-T-S, Just End The Season!

Michigan was up 1 pt going into HWT. They most likely lose to the Goofers with Steveson.

Michigan. Still not ranked.

Rutgers remaining schedule is Indiana, Purdue, Michigan, Illinois, Rider, NW and Princeton. They could easily go 0-7 or 1-6 the rest of the way, leaving them 0-9 or 1-8 their last nine duals.

Probably true. Despite Michigan winning by 7, a Steveson win by decision would have been a 9-point swing. But still, Michigan>>Rutgers.

It's really more about Michigan. I was shocked to see them out of the top 25 in the rankings of Intermat and Flo.

What Michigan did would have been the equivalent of if we redshirted Lee, Cenzo and Hall this year and if we went that far, hard to not imagine RBY getting redshirted and Brooks staying on redshirt.

We have enough complaints about this season as is, could you imagine if we did that?

Lineup:
125 - Meredith
133 - Clabaugh
141 - Blumer/Giannangeli
149 - Verkleeren (could Oly RS him too lol) and let Gardner go
157 - Pipher
165 - Kraeszig
174 - Edsell
184 - Ball
197 - Shakur
285 - Seth (could keep him on redshirt) and let Hoopes go

EDIT: Funny enough, we could do that and there would be minimal overlap with our next year if we asked Starocci to Greyshirt this year then regular redshirt next year as Hall goes. Only Joe Lee would lose a year as a starter effectively.
