Midlands Participants

Midlands brackets up on Track Wrestling. Tried to attach site but every time I tested got error. Using phone not easy. DT seeded 1 at 84.

184 is stacked. Would of been the best weight class even without DT.

Overall some weak brackets; looks like a few teams didn't make it.

Still no Grothus at 141 for Iowa. Wasn't he suppose to pin his way through the tournament?

Would have been fun to see Grothus/Andrew Long ...

Luckily those missing points will be picked up by Sammy Brooks repeatedly tilting and/or throwing David Taylor

Agree about the 184-lb bracket, and IIRC 133-lb still is pretty good, despite some late defections. But don't mention the other weak brackets over on the HR forum. Some of the Iowa folks are kind of sensitive about that ....

I was surprised to see him TF Clayton Ream. Looked real smooth. Hawkeyes might have nabbed a great one from your backyard.

PSU chose to go after Joseph. It's not like they could have landed both of them due to them being around the same weight and available money. I think PSU will be alright. It looks like both guys will be at 157 next year. I think Joseph will be able to "hang" with Kemerer.

There was never a doubt that Kem was gonna be something special...The question is do you offer to Vjoseph or Kem, Penn State or Iowa were not going to get both. In the end, they are both special and it will be interesting to see who got the better in that recruitment battle. Hopefully they stay at the same weight in their careers..the head to head match ups would be awesome for the next 4-5 years.

Evidently the Illinois team bus didn't start so they stayed home. . Hmmm... Certainly weakens the brackets yes indeed.

Kemerer just lost 11-9 to Alexander Richardson from Old Dominion. Looked a bit more like a true freshman tonight. He will get there.
