This guy is a national treasure. Felli is gonna love this thread.
I would believe this guy has been abducted.
So you're also thinking "anal probe?" Poor bastard.I would believe this guy has been abducted.
I have a feeling that would be better than being probed by Bigfoot. So you're also thinking "anal probe?" Poor bastard.![]()
You do know that Mike is, like you, a "lawyer" don't you? That is simply his way of deflecting questions he doesn't want to answer.
In that case, he did a DAMN good job at it.You do know that Mike is, like you, a "lawyer" don't you? That is simply his way of deflecting questions he doesn't want to answer.
He did this stuff frequently and purposefully while at Texas Tech.In that case, he did a DAMN good job at it.
HA!!! I love Mike Leach. Endless entertainment. I can't get enough of him. Here is the classic......
That reminds me of a good joke on The Big Bang Theory. The boys are discussing who the bravest character in the Marvel Universe is. The winner: Wolverine's proctologist.I have a feeling that would be better than being probed by Bigfoot.![]()
Didn't some folks here want Penn State to hire Leach to replace Joe?
Awesome. He's rambling, but I do agree with most of what he said.
If I were God, I if I were a God who created this whole big Universe, I certainly wouldn't create only ONE intelligent life form and then 99.9999999% empty space. I'd create TONS of intelligent life forms, and then see what happens if/when they meet up with each other!
Weren't Leach and Spurrier two of the first to defend Joe? I believe Leach and Joe were friends.
I can see why Joe and Mike would be friendly, and I'm most definitely a fan of his shtick. But he's not the right fit for the Pennsylvania State University.I do know that David Jones was trying to promote his hiring. I think there was some interest from the Penn State faithful, but, at that time, I don't think it was very realistic. Leach probably would have been interested, too. At that time the job was not attractive to many. Leach would not have let that influence him.
I like him because he went right after ESPN when Craig James tried to "get" him. I don't know how successful that Leach was, but, James doesn't work there any more, and ESPN was certainly put in an uncomfortable position.

You may recall the blaring criticism of the university at the time was that it was 'run by Joe.' Mike Leach had been recently terminated for insubordination -- and more specifically for publicly refusing to cooperate with an official university investigation. That dog wasn't going to hunt.People thought BOB wasn't a good fit either and look how that turned out.
