Yes, that is most unfortunate. Now we have Max and Ian for the next 2 games then a bullpen game then Max then Ian if needed? Ynoa has seemed to have gotten lost in the shuffle since we broke his hand in Milwaukee. Maybe start Touki Toussaint? Again, we are really missing Soroka right now.

Ynoa was supposed to start last series and was scratched because of shoulder problems. I think he was left off the WS roster. Touki isn't on the roster either. I'm guessing it'll be a bullpen game with maybe Kyle Wright or Smyly pitching a lot of innings.

If a gender fluid player identifies as female and comes in to pitch an inning and is then removed for a PH in a national league park, comes back as a player who identifies as male is he allowed to then pitch the next inning? The rules committee needs to take a hard look at this. For example if Maxine Scherzer comes in and pitches five, lifted for a PH and then identifies as Max, can he come back in? And does the pitch count reset?
