Straight off the heels of the Hasson arrest let’s regurgitate a DOD program that’s been challenged with limited success in the courts, quote some obscure reserve lieutenant colonel as an expert simply because she makes a living off its advocacy, and frame it as a “hate” problem. It’s classic “Let’s throw everything against the wall and see what sticks.”

I don’t know about you guys but given the government’s track record for agencies not talking to one another (think 911) the more interagency communications the better. Not to mention these MAVNI recruits hail from countries which sponsor terrorism and therefore, it would be nice to know the ranks of our military haven’t been infiltrated. That our sons and daughters won’t be shot in the back. The additional precaution might just save lives!

You’d think if the president of the United States can be thoroughly vetted for being a Russian agent (at no expense bared, mind you) then so can our troops. Moreover, intra-agency investigations are known to have failed. See how the shooter at Sutherland Springs TX managed to get a gun…

In conclusion, if a program makes a few people uncomfortable for the benefit of the group then so be it. It has my endorsement. It’s not like MAVNI recruits are being forced at knife point, like they probably were back in the home country…

I thank you and let's keep it real.
